A catalogue is the portal to a library's collection of books, journals and other materials. Many universities and other institutions allow public access to their catalogues. Some universities also permit alumni and people from the community to borrow material according to their individual policy. These catalogues can be searched using the search strategy and tips outlined elsewhere on this site. Some reference help may be available either in person, by phone or email. |
